Grace and peace from God our Father…
I pray that you are found in the peace of God and in His perfect will.
In just a few days we will celebrate and praise God for the work accomplished at Calvary. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ suffered, bled, and died for our sins. The dying part was the road to carry our sins of omission and commission far from our charge never to be called upon again. We are able to become joint heirs with Christ, but we must take on the character of God> "loving in spite of". Love is the axis and center of our faith. Plain and simplistic as it is, Love conquers all evil and ill-will.
Easter will be filled with many celebrations adopted over the years such as the Easter bunny, egg hunts, bonnets, suits, ties, dresses, plays and speeches. None these nullify the work of Jesus nor ever will. So I urge you allow folks to celebrate and come together in peace and harmony. If peace is obtained by using a barbeque grill, then let peace avail..."blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God" (Matthew 5:9).
The Annual Mid-Year Session for our Association will convene on Saturday April 19, 2025, at 10:00am at the Center. We plea for all members of KEMBA to be in attendance as we conduct the official business of our association. There will be a voting matter, fiscal year change. The guest preacher will be Moderator David Smith from Middle district Baptist Association.
Remain blessed and check for daily updates to the webpage for announcements and opportunities of worship, fellowship, and Kingdom Building. Reach out to me directly if there is a need or concern, as your Moderator, I am here to serve…God Bless & keep you.
Rev. Dr. Michael McDougald, Moderator
The future desires for many of the long-living membership was to build a main worship sanctuary as their contribution to the association. In looking to fulfil that vision we as an association must build a constant financial portfolio of stabilized flow of income for a 3–5-year period.
We are asking as many churches as possible or members to commit to either $100 monthly or $1.00 daily, thus Campaign 1200 0r 365. Make checks payable to KEMBA and note in memo line the destination. Thank You
The move to Joint Usher sessions at the KEMBA Center was a vision and guidance given through much prayer and supplication. On the 5th Sunday our great association is divided in three ways, a Northern session, Southern session, and churches that have 5th Sunday worship. This move will unify our association to only a two-way divide. Ultimately i would love to see the session convene on the 5th weekend Friday or Saturday session, thus freeing each church to set their worship as it sees fit for the 5th Sunday.
Ordination is the act of conferring holy ordinances upon the minister. Hands are laid upon an eligible candidate as they are elevated in ministry to perform sacerdotal duties i.e. baptism, administer Sacrament, perform weddings.

The cost of the ordination academy from start to finish is $150.00 per enrolled candidate...payable to KEMBA.
The Lead Instructor/chair is Dr. Gregory Hardy, pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church of Magnolia, experienced Assistant Professor, and a member of KEMBA Executive Board.
