        February Newsletter

Grace and peace in the month of celebration known to all as the Love month or Valentine's Day. I pray you and your sweetheart will have many more blessed years of love and happiness.

This is also the month that we regognize the accomplishments of Black contributors. This country began with celebrating Black history around seventy-six years ago with the guidance of Carter G. Woodson as America celebrated Black History Week, then in 1976 President Geralf Ford allowed for the month-long celebration. We can all agree that one month could not begin to scratch the surface of black citizen's contributions.

The Civil Rights Museum trip for our Youth Empowerment had to be postponed until a later date, those who were registered will receive updated travel information.

The month also brings our own first Black History Month celebration in the way of a gospel music fund raiser. The ticket cost $25.00 for the celebration February 28, 2026, 4:00pm, doors open at 3:00pm...

Contact Trustee Antron Hayes for further information.

Pray as we enter the Lent Season where individuals search their lives' for sacrificial denial for spiritual growth and cleansing.  The Association is here to help every constituent church. There is a financial responsibility on each of us to support it's functionality by meeting our financial requirements. This administration has never hounded a church for finances, but if the body wants to continue to move forth with its objectives, then everyone must do their part, put away your disdain for me or this administration and use the lenses of Christian love and love your brother, neighbor, or Christian sibling.

Be Blessed and continue to pray for this administration and this country.

KEMBA Leadership will continue to serve its people.

        Campaign 1200 or Campaign 365

The future aspirations of many long-standing members include constructing a main worship sanctuary as their contribution to the KEMBA Center and its mission of spiritual empowerment. To realize this vision, our association must establish a stable financial portfolio that ensures a consistent flow of income over the next 3–5 years.

We are inviting as many churches and members as possible to participate in this community service initiative by committing to either $100 monthly or $1.00 daily, known as Campaign 1200 or 365. Please make checks payable to KEMBA and note the destination in the memo line. Thank you.

        Purpose of Joint Usher Sessions

The move to Joint Usher sessions at the KEMBA Center was a vision and guidance given through much prayer and supplication. On the 5th Sunday, our great association is divided in three ways: a Northern session, a Southern session, and churches that engage in community service with 5th Sunday worship. This transition will unify our association into a two-way divide. Ultimately, I would love to see the session convene on the 5th weekend, either Friday or Saturday, thus allowing each church the freedom to set their worship as it sees fit for the 5th Sunday, fostering spiritual empowerment within our community.
