KEMBA CENTER is based in Warsaw, NC. We strive to serve the communities of our forty-six constituent churches through spiritual empowerment, education, and service to the holistic man to build family and the Kingdom of God.
Our purpose is to equip the community with the necessary training that leaves them empowered for survival in the present digital age we live. KEMBA with collaborative partnership with Shackle Free Ministries will continue to erase the absence of digital knowledge. .
This nonprofit organization is chaired by the remarkable Chiquitta Lesene, is an organization that seeks to serve the community with a holistic approach to every life they encounter. She came to me with a vision of divine partnership, and as I listened her vision aligned with what God had given me for KEMBA, a beacon for church, community, and the individual.
Many of our churches in the association have vacant pulpits, some by transition from labor to reward, some by pastor resignation, and some by joint decisions to terminate leadership. Regardless of the reason, there should be a uniformed and clear process to accomplish the filling of the vacant pulpit.
During this joint training, the participant will be presented with the necessary processes that will fit the needs on your congregation regardless of the membership size.
Handouts will be available.

Grace and peace from God our Father…
I pray that you are blessed of the Lord as we enter the 'dog days of summer." This summer has been one of unprecedented heat and humidity, severe thunderstorms, and historical flooding. Earthquakes are occurring in diverse places; simply put we are living in the last days according to the Scriptures. The church cannot be uneasy about the events around us, be we must be vigilant in the continuing work of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pointing souls to Calvary and the Crimson flow.
The Lord truly blessed in the KEMBA Anniversary service in July as the Right Reverend Dr Terry Henry challenged us from Malachi 1 > What Kind of Worship/Offering are we Giving God? What a powerful word of spiritual inspection to all that were in attendance. Many said there wasn't any notification but there was plenty as well as this a standing service each year. If you failed to receive notification, then please update your church's mailing address and email address to ensure you are receiving correspondence. The Association leans a lot on the use of social media, so if we accept the changes in our daily lives with changes for all of our other business, then please accept and roll with the methodology of the Association.
This is back-to-school season, and we must ready ourselves for the shift in schedules> early to bed and early to rise. The association with its partnership with Shackle Free Community Outreach is here to make for a better school year. We want our kids to have all the tools and resources needed for a powerful and successful school year. There needs to be some scholarship offered by our association to help our college kids. The government has a mandate to destroy education in impoverished counties, but our forces are not carnal, we have help God.
Be Blessed and continue to pray for Kemba Leadership.
Rev. Dr. Michael McDougald, Moderator
The future desires for many of the long-living membership was to build a main worship sanctuary as their contribution to the association. In looking to fulfil that vision we as an association must build a constant financial portfolio of stabilized flow of income for a 3–5-year period.
We are asking as many churches as possible or members to commit to either $100 monthly or $1.00 daily, thus Campaign 1200 0r 365. Make checks payable to KEMBA and note in memo line the destination. Thank You
The move to Joint Usher sessions at the KEMBA Center was a vision and guidance given through much prayer and supplication. On the 5th Sunday our great association is divided in three ways, a Northern session, Southern session, and churches that have 5th Sunday worship. This move will unify our association to only a two-way divide. Ultimately i would love to see the session convene on the 5th weekend Friday or Saturday session, thus freeing each church to set their worship as it sees fit for the 5th Sunday.
